Meghan Trainor says that being ‘skinny-shamed’ since she lost weight is what led to her new single, Still Don’t Care. Her breakout song, All About That Bass, referenced her larger frame at the time. Since then, she has had a couple of kids and started her fitness journey in order to be healthy for herself and for them. Trainor’s new album, Toy With Me, will be released in April.
Disney has released the first trailer for the live-action remake of “Moana,” starring Catherine Laga‘aia as the titular character. Like the original 2016 animated movie, the live-action film will once again star Dwayne Johnson as Maui, a once-mighty demigod who helps Moana on a quest to save her island and its people. The live-action remake hits theaters in July next year.
Meanwhile, Nintendo has offered fans the first glimpse of The Legend of Zelda’s live action movie. Images released Monday on the Nintendo Today app showcase young actors Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as the magical Princess Zelda and the green-clad swordsman Link. This one won’t be in theatres until 2027 though
A fan who grabbed Ariana Grande on the red carpet at the premiere of ‘Wicked: For Good’ in Singapore last week was sentenced to nine days in jail.
And Whoopi Goldberg will miss an entire week of The View. She’s not sick, she’s not quitting… she has a part in an Italian soap opera and will be filming overseas this week.
