Monkton Fastball Tournament Final Inning

One organizer is trying to salvage a premiere fastball tournament in Monkton.
The World Fastball Invitational is entering it's 7th year but with not enough teams committing to the July event, word is the executive has decided to skip this year.
But co-chair Brian Baillie says there is still time and he's had a number of teams ask about the tournament and how to keep it going.
But he has to wait until some executive members get back to Ontario.

The 7th annual World Fastball Invitational in Monkton was scheduled to start July 1st.
Baillie says because of the economic climate a number of teams have folded and others have not finalized their tournament plans because of smaller budgets.
There are 4 teams confirmed with 2 more in talks.
The Monkton World Fastball Invitational needs at least 8 teams to run.
