Western Junior C Launches Tonight

Six Junior C teams will try and knock off the 3-time defending champs and it all begins tonight.
And it's not taking long to pit last year's best against each other.
Hanover is in Walkerton at 8:30, a re-match of last year's final which went 7 games.
The defending champion Hawks do have 12 returning players from last season.
Owen Sound native Andy Mitchell, who played with the Hawks 2 seasons ago, is the team's captain.
Also back with the Hawks, Drew Davidson.
He played for Listowel last season.
Also tonight Mitchell is in Wingham tonight at 8.
Goderich and Mount Forest will play their home openers tomorrow night at 8 and 8:30 respectively.
Mitchell also play its home opener tomorrow night at 7:15.
The Kincardine Bulldogs are in an exhibition tournament in Alliston this weekend and will play their first game of the regular season next Friday.
